Make Practice Easy

Posted by - Jay McGrath :: Category - Uncategorized

One of the most difficult things to realize before playing a round of golf is the amount of work you need to put into your game in order to enjoy success.  No pure level of athleticism, hand-eye coordination, or raw power will give you a natural knack for the game of golf.  In order to succeed, you need to pick up your clubs and practice your stroke.

If you don’t think you have the time to practice and play, you are not alone.  Fortunately, there are some great ways to practice, from right in your backyard.  When you think of a quality golf range mat, you likely have nightmares of the ride to the range, the overpriced bucket of balls you hit, and the lackluster amount of swings you are able to take with each club.  What you should want out of a great driving range mat, however, is the ability for flexibility.  Being able to go in your backyard and practice with an outdoor golf training aid is something that will save you time and money while improving your game!  It is a truly simple and convenient way to get the practice you need in before you hit the course.

Take It In

As you watch the Masters next week, take notice of how the players deal with adversity throughout their round and have complete consistency in their stroke from start to finish.  How do these players gain this consistency to use on even the biggest stage?  The answer to this question, quite frankly, is simple: practice, practice, and more practice.

Because all of us are not professional golfers, and do not have an exorbitant amount of time nor funds to spend on our golf practice, practice is often sacrificed in lieu of playing on the course.  This trade-off, however, does not have to happen.  By going a getting an outstanding range mat to serve as a golf training aid right in your backyard, your game will vastly improve.  Just simple practice with limited flight balls and driving range mats composed of state-of-the-art golf swing surfaces will definitely allow you to get a practice comparable to that of the professionals at a fraction of the cost and time.  Best of luck with your practice, and make sure to take something away from your viewing of the Masters.
